  • Chief Executive Officer and Board Director with three decades of experience in the power generation industry. A seasoned leader with an ability to execute complex transactions across diverse technologies and teams

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Daul was President of Recurrent Energy Group and Vice President of the Americas for Canadian Solar’s project development business and was integrally involved in over 7.7 GW of operating renewable projects and 870 MW of operating gas-fired projects representing over $10 billion of total investment

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. Daul served as Senior Vice President of the Americas for SunPower’s power plant business. In addition, he served on the board of 8point3 Energy Partners, the SunPower-First Solar publicly traded yieldco

  • Cofounded Element Power in 2009 and oversaw the company’s wind and solar businesses in the Americas for five years

  • Mr. Daul’s energy industry experience also includes seven years at PPM Energy (now Iberdrola Renewables), a combined four years with Entergy’s unregulated power generation business and Newport Generation leading gas-fired generation development throughout the U.S., as well as seven years in engineering, marketing and business development roles with Westinghouse Electric’s global power generation group

  • Served on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association for nearly three years and the Wind Solar Alliance Board for more than seven years before it successfully merged with ACORE.

  • Holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Texas A&M University

Chief Executive Officer

Ty Daul

  • Chief Financial Officer with 25 years of corporate and project finance experience in the energy, water, and telecommunication sectors.  Over the past 14 years he has been the Chief Financial Officer of various businesses including 10 years in the renewable energy sector

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Larrison was the CFO of ENGIE Storage (formerly Green Charge Networks) the energy storage platform of the global independent power producer ENGIE starting in 2016.  He steered Green Charge Networks through its acquisition by ENGIE and during a period of significant growth in the emerging energy storage industry

  • From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Larrison was the CFO and Board Director of YGEA Holding Co., which sold Yingli branded solar panels and related services in the North and South American solar markets.  At YGEA he oversaw the growth of the business from $150 million to, at its peak, $700 million in sales

  • Prior to YGEA, Mr. Larrison served in a variety of senior corporate finance roles at both publicly held and private equity backed companies including Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Simbol Materials, Chief Financial Officer of Verified Identity Pass and the Finance Director of the Infrastructure and Wholesale Division at Virgin Media (NASDAQ: LBTYA; formerly NASDAQ: VMED)

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. Larrison spent nearly 7 years in asset development and structured finance in the power and water sectors at Enron Europe based in London. His first introduction to the market was as a finance and investment consultant at Ernst & Young working in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

  • Holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School, a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from St. Lawrence University

Chief Financial Officer

Tim Larrison

  • Chief Operations Officer with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and investing in solar. Mr. Larner has prior senior level responsibility for US$830 million of capital investment across approximately 960 solar projects since 2005, comprising over 35 distributed solar generation portfolios

  • Experienced in creating and growing businesses in the solar sector with a detailed understanding of the confluence of finance, construction and operations required for high volume, low friction solar transactions

  • Former VP of Projects for RP Construction Services responsible for building over 380MW of distributed solar projects since 2015

  • Formerly Executive Director, Operations at Sun Edison and Vice President, Operations at Regeneration Finance from 2009 through 2013

  • Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science & Technology, with a minor in Biology from Pomona College, is a licensed Electrical & General Contractor, and holds accreditation as a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers

Chief Operations Officer

Adam Larner

  • Chief Development Officer with nearly 20 years of renewable project development experience, with extensive knowledge of real estate, project finance, interconnection and transmission issues, power sales, complex permitting and zoning environments, and site optimization

  • Ms. Cohen joins Primergy Solar from ENGIE North America, where she oversaw renewables commercial activities cross North America including the leading team in utility-scale corporate PPA contracting

  • Prior to ENGIE, Ms. Cohen held the position of VP of Commercial Strategy at Infinity Renewables where she helped grow the company's 8 GW portfolio underpinning the sale of the platform to ENGIE

  • Earlier in her career, Ms. Cohen held management and executive roles at several other companies including Clipper Windpower, Acciona Energy, and Element Power, as well as several years as a consulting advisor to companies in the wind, solar and marine energy industries. As a vice president at Element Power, Emily directed all project development activities for more than 3,000 MW of wind and solar projects in the western United States

  • Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.

Emily Cohen

  • General Counsel with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Mr. McReynolds manages all aspects of the company’s legal affairs, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, compliance, and interaction on legal affairs with counterparties, governmental authorities, regulators, and external counsel

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. McReynolds served as VP and Counsel of DESRI

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. McReynolds held the positions of Associate General Counsel of Recurrent Energy, Senior Counsel at Topaz Power Group, and Associate at McDermott, Will & Emery and Pillsbury

  • Ben holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University

Ben McReynolds

  • Senior Vice President, M&A with a dynamic and proven track record within the renewable energy sector

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Sibilia most previously led the renewable project acquisition group at NextEra Energy Resources and was responsible for nearly 10 GW of development project acquisitions

  • Mr. Sibilia has acquired roughly 3 GW of solar projects in New England, PJM, MISO and SERC

  • Approximately 2 GW of projects Mr. Sibilia worked on are now in operation with another 3 GW under construction or planned to be built

  • Before NextEra, Mr. Sibilia was an equity analyst at Neuberger Berman and before that Credit Suisse covering the energy industry including utilities, renewables, IPPs, midstream, oil service as well as various capital goods companies

  • Holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst

Senior Vice President, M&A

Anthony Sibilia

  • Senior Vice President, Operations & Engineering with 15 years of professional experience in business development, operations, and engineering procurement and construction (EPC)

  • Ms. Ananthakrishnan joins Primergy from SunPower, where she held multiple leadership roles ranging from Director of Global Design & Engineering to most recently leading Operations for Americas. During her tenure at SunPower she was responsible for negotiating and executing over 20 GW of EPC, PV and BOS projects across the globe.

  • Led the engineering and design teams for the largest U.S. PV projects at the time: CVSR, 250 MW and Solar Star, 747 MW

  • Recognized for building strong, innovative teams with a track record of delivering projects on time and under budget with high customer satisfaction

  • Ms. Ananthakrishnan holds a Master of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where her research focused on zero-energy housing, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Madras

Senior Vice President, Operations & Engineering

Deepa Ananthakrishnan

  • Vice President of Development with over 13 years of experience developing and acquiring utility scale wind, solar and storage projects

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Ms. Leipzig was a Director of Renewable Development with AEP Renewables.  She was responsible for project development and acquisitions of utility-scale renewables projects nationwide. In this role, she managed renewable projects from greenfield stages onward to construction, originated investment opportunities, led due diligence activities and negotiated transaction agreements

  • From 2007-2016, Ms. Leipzig worked across the United States and Canada developing, buying and selling renewables projects on behalf of Acciona Energy

  • Over her 13-year career, Ms. Leipzig has developed and managed over 5,000 megawatts of wind and solar projects from prospecting to construction stages across the U.S. and Canada, including wind repower projects. In M&A roles, she has transacted on greater than 2,600 megawatts of utility scale renewable energy projects. The Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) recently recognized Lisa for her leadership and impact on the advancement of renewable energy

  • She holds a Master of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington and Jefferson College

Lisa Leipzig

  • Senior Director, M&A with over seven years of experience in development, acquisition and financing of C&I and community solar projects in the US, representing over US$150 million of financing across 80 C&I projects

  • Former Business Development Director at Nautilus Solar Energy between 2016 and 2019 and led the acquisition and structuring of four community solar portfolios totaling 40MWs

  • Member of the SunEdison C&I Development team for four years with a focus on project development and acquisitions of C&I projects

  • Worked at PWC and Ernst & Young for four years as part of the financial audit and consulting teams providing transaction advisory services such as building financial models and conducting valuations for private corporations and financial institutions

  • Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo and a Master of Science in Finance from EADA Business School in Barcelona, Spain

Senior Director, M&A

Alberto Veloz

  • Senior Director, Western Development with an energy career that now spans several decades, from her underwater archeology work with gas & oil, to the past nearly 20 years developing utility scale renewable energy throughout the Western US. Ms. McDonald specializes in completing complicated projects with difficult permitting challenges, overcoming construction obstacles and garnering public support in the face of strong opposition

  • Ms. McDonald joins Primergy from Avangrid Renewables, where she oversaw multiple wind, solar and battery storage projects in various stages of development

  • Prior to that, Ms. McDonald worked for Acciona Energy focusing on California renewable energy development

  • She started as a professional land and underwater archaeologist supporting both academic research at Indiana University through the Anthropology and Kinesiology Departments as well as working in various countries throughout the Caribbean and Central America

  • Ms. McDonald holds a Master’s Degree in Archaeology from Indiana University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, Spanish, with a certificate in Underwater Science

Senior Director, Western Development

K. Harley McDonald

  • Senior Director, Pre-Construction with over 19 years of experience in development and construction, including 11 years in the renewable energy sector

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Regenhard was the Manager at First Solar Inc., responsible for managing all permitting and siting of high voltage, PV plant, energy storage and O&M buildings for a large portfolio of projects ranging from 25 MW to 300 MW throughout the South and South-West regions of the US

  • Senior Project Manager for VTN Nevada from 2001-2014, with experience as the Lead in the Renewable Energy Business Unit, most notably developing strategic planning for the business model. Responsibilities include developing proposals, contract negotiations and execution

  • Early in his career, Mr. Regenhard started with the Department of Transportation in the State of Nevada, where he was responsible for reviewing and inspecting construction work to ensure contract compliance and plan specification

  • Holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in both California and Nevada

Senior Director, Pre-Construction

Thomas Regenhard

  • Director, Energy Storage Engineering with 10 years of technical and commercial experience in energy storage, solar and construction sector

  • Prior to joining Primergy Solar, Mr. Kharaya was the Product Manager, Energy Storage Services at Clean Energy Associates.  During his tenure, he introduced and developed technical advisory services and served as the Subject Matter Expert for Energy Storage. Also, he led a global team to develop SaaS based energy storage modeling platform

  • From 2017 to 2020, Mr. Kharaya held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at NEC Energy Solutions where he supported over 300 MWh of Energy Storage projects including launching channel sales business in the New York and Massachusetts market. At NEC, he supported proposals through contract development, and served as a technical expert on over US $100 million projects. He has published multiple thought leadership articles on stationary energy storage at leading publications like Greentech Media, Energy Storage News and others

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. Kharaya spent 5 years in solar and building design engineering at HOK, Integral Group and APCA Power

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Electrical Engineering and holds Master of Science in Green Technologies from University of Southern California and Bachelor of Technology in Energy Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India

Director, Energy Storage Engineering

Aaroh Kharaya

  • Director, Strategy & Analytics with 7 years of specialized experience in the commercialization and acquisition of renewable energy projects including both wind and solar

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Downey worked as Director, Market Strategy and Commercial Advisor at ENGIE North America Inc. where he managed a team responsible for energy offtake financial modeling, developed pricing strategies, and provided quantitative contract negotiation support.

  • Supported the successful financing of six wind projects totaling over 1GW through upstream offtake structuring, congestion and basis analysis, technology selection and site optimization.

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. Downey worked as an M&A Analyst in 2017, a Commercial Analytics Analyst in 2016 and a Strategy Analyst from 2014-2016 at Invenergy. Here he developed his advanced skills in project acquisition, strategic planning and market strategy

  • Holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University with a Minor in Economics

Director, Strategy & Analytics

Graham Downey

  • Director of Finance with over 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector including tax equity, project finance and M&A

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. David was a Senior Manager of Structured Finance with sPower, where he led tax equity and debt transactions for utility-scale solar and storage projects. With a primary focus on the California market, Mr. David secured financing for all of sPower’s utility-scale offtake structures involving Community Choice Aggregators

  • In his role as a transaction lead at sPower, Mr. David was responsible for closing over $600 million of capital deployed or committed across tax equity partnerships, construction facilities, and back-leverage facilities

  • Before sPower, Mr. David was a Structured Finance Analyst at Empower Energies, a leading C&I and Community Solar developer. There, Mr. David helped build out the analytics & pricing platform and was the tax equity modeling lead for a $10 million distributed generation solar project in Massachusetts

  • Mr. David’s early career included a variety of roles in real estate due diligence & advisory, credit research and quantitative equity research

  • Mr. David holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was also a member of the University Track & Field team

Director, Finance

Dareem David

  • Senior Manager of Development with over 6 years of experience developing and advancing utility scale wind and solar projects

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mrs. Meyer was a Project Development Manager with EDP Renewables North America. She was instrumental to the successful construction of 500MW of wind projects in Iowa, Texas, and Colorado along with progressing numerous early-stage solar and wind projects throughout the Midwest. In this role, she managed all stages of development, enriched the relationships with landowners, community, and local governments, and guided the project from concept to construction

  • From 2015-2016, Mrs. Meyer served Apex Clean Energy identifying 3 gigawatts of greenfield wind assets throughout the Midwest, including the recently constructed 385 MW Isabella Wind Farm in north central Michigan

  • During her career, Mrs. Meyer has contributed to or led the development of over 3,000 megawatts of utility-scale wind and solar projects from early to late stage development throughout the central United States, including repower projects

  • She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Mary Washington

Senior Manager, Development

Kathryn Meyer

  • Office Manager with over 10 years of experience supporting high-level professionals in a variety of demanding industries requiring confidentiality and precise diligence

  • Prior to joining Primergy Ms. Deslierres worked as the Executive Assistant to the owner/operator of Ammari Investments for 5 years, managing both residential and commercial properties, researching potential business opportunities and investments, creating and executing contracts and assisting with all aspects of business venture research and acquisition

  •  Ms. Deslierres also has experience in the legal arena as a Legal Assistant at MVTC Family Law. During her tenure at this company, she obtained her Supervised Visitation Monitor Certificate with the State of California and worked with several families to assist in safely reuniting parents with their children

  • In 2014 Ms. Deslierres obtained her residential real estate license and worked as a  Residential Realtor for Century 21 M&M and Associates

  • Holds a Bachelor of Art in Sociology, Anthropology and Art from Mills College

Sara Deslierres

  • Associate, M&A with five years of experience in the development and financing of renewable energy projects

  • Mr. Soria has worked on close to $3B of transactions totaling nearly 1GW of renewable energy projects

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Soria was an early member of the Renewable Properties team with a range of responsibilities in development, financing, and strategic initiatives for the firm

  • Earlier in his career, he worked as a Business Associate at NextEra Energy with a focus on various financing and strategic initiatives

Florentino Soria

  • Asset Manager, Analyst with 7 years of experience building dynamic relationships with customers and stakeholders while ensuring the successful business growth and heightened profit of projects

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Mr. Taylor worked as the Associate Project Manager at Comfy where he managed multiple portfolios and improved implementation time by identifying and resolving issues

  • Earlier in his career, Mr. Taylor developed his exceptional client rapport skills as a Product Expert for Apple where he led a team of professionals to improve production. Mr. Taylor built his organizational and analytical skills during his time as a Service Advisor/Competition Coordinator at EDGE Motorworks

  • Holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Management concentration from California State University, San Francisco

Timothy Taylor

  • Prior to joining Primergy, Ms. Osterholt was a Project Development Analyst at First Solar Inc., where she contributed to the development of over 2 GW of Western US projects and provided support in the sale process of First Solar’s 10 GW solar project platform.  Ms. Osterholt specialized in public affairs for a large portfolio of projects across the US ranging from 100 MW to 450 MW

  • Prior to renewable energy, Ms. Osterholt’s career included a variety of customer-facing roles where she focused on managing projects and building strong relationships with stakeholders

David Scaysbrook

  • Director with 25 years’ experience across a range of investment, finance, advisory and business development roles within the global energy industry

  • Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder/Head of Europe for the CEI division at Capital Dynamics Group between 2010 and 2015. Mr. Quinlan served on the CEI Investment Committee

  • Chief Financial Officer and Executive Finance Director of Novera Energy PLC between 2004 and 2009. As CFO, Mr. Quinlan was responsible for all investment, financing and regulated activities including capital raisings (equity and debt markets), investment origination, negotiation and investment completion

Rory Quinlan

  • Director with over 33 years’ experience in building and managing wholesale energy trading, power marketing, asset optimization and logistics businesses for public and private companies in both North America and Europe 

  • Mr. Jones joins Quinbrook from Dynegy Inc., where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. At Dynegy, Hank was responsible for the commercial optimization of 26 GW of power generation assets diversified across multiple U.S.  states. He managed all wholesale market-facing activities including energy hedging, fuel procurement and logistics, asset management and capacity sales negotiations and oversaw the fundamental market analysis team. Under Hank’s leadership, that team developed and implemented power hedge strategies to mitigate commodity risk and basis exposure in multiple US power markets and led commercial due diligence efforts for the acquisition of operational energy infrastructure assets.

  • Prior to Dynegy, Mr. Jones was Head of North American Power & Gas Sales, Trading and Origination at Deutsche Bank, managing natural gas, liquids and electricity trading, sales and origination 

  • Previously Director of Renewable Fuels Trading and Head of Electricity Trading at EDF Trading in London and later became Chief Operating Officer and Head of Trading for EDF Trading North America 

  • Mr. Jones has held various leadership positions in energy businesses in the US and Europe including Co-Founder of Renewable Fuel Supply Limited, Managing Director of AEP Energy Services Ltd., President of Duke Energy Resource Management Company and Vice President of Risk Management and Energy Trading at NGC Corporation

  • Holds a B.S. in Marketing and a M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University
